The autolock locks the car from the moment you start driving until you're done driving. That's the purpose of autolock. If you want to get out WHILE youre driving (the system either has you driving or not) then press UNLOCK once and you can get out. gn8

I Understand that but if the car is running and i try to unlock the car with button it shouldn’t quickly lock again. So you’re telling me with the auto lock feature on i can’t get out of the car with the engine running. I must turn off the car to get out of the car

that's how this feature works, that's how it works OEM. it locks with IGN on and unlocks with IGN off - thats the definition of autolock

I read the instruction just fine. I’m not turning off the feature cause it doesn’t work like how it should. If i want to unlock the car to get out of the car by pressing the unlock button and the alarm is locking it back up just as fast As I’m pressing the unlock button something is wrong with that feature.

With the car running and i press the unlock button it needs to stay unlock not lock itself real quick. Car isn’t even moving.

yeah, thats a feature... thats auto-lock... you can turn it off rather easy :)

ok, if its at all possible and you can plug it in tomorrow or so, that would be great. Again: I can assure you there is NO hazard... thats why I use METAL as the housing, its fire-proof. The chines stuff uses pvc that melts and burns. I use the same system in my personal cars for 3-4 years and my car is valued at 300ish k... so you can take my word for it, i don't sell anything that isn't hardcore tested.

I can assure you, if there is any issue with it I also want to know. Ship it over, I'll take a look at it within hours. Its possible that something happened during transport. I'm approaching this with an open mind

ok, well, 2 ways: a) please replicate it and show me the video or b) ship the box back and I will inspect it. if there is any issue, I'll of course replace it. - but again: 1) there isn't enough current for it to happen, 2) I cycled the box 3-400 times before it ships. everything gets tested before it leaves

It’s a liability at this point for him he doesn’t want something in his car that does that. He doesn’t need an alarm that bad to risk shit smoking in his car. I get his point. He rather not even have an alarm in his car if he has to worry about a box smoking.

then he should re-sell it, if he doesn't like it. I build them custom for the customer... if it straight up has an issue then I inspect it an correct if (that has never been necessary) or refund... I don't just do return because you don't like it after you buy it. You gotta see my point

i told you that you can try 1 dip-switch setting that is designed for the older theftboxes... and I also told you its not supposed to be required. and apparently after you charged your battery (which I told you to do) it worked.

did the car start when you say it smoked?

you can absolutely send me over the box and I read it out, but its physically impossible that it smokes. the starter relays are rated at twice the crank-amps and if the relay fails it would just kill the contact and thats it.

I was there with him and the tuner and he was starting the car and i did some smoke in that area i was in the back of the car and killed the battery immediately and we pulled the carpet up and unplug the box. The car is running a motec m150 ecu so it wasn’t that smoking but it’s literally the only two things in that area.

I can possible help him to find a buyer if he wants to re-sell it, but again: he's gotta be honest. if he doesn't like it, okay, but don't claim stuff is smoking, etc - then I really can't help. hope you understand what I mean

I really don't do return, especially not if its "I dont like it anymore" ... I'm happy to assist if you have any setup issues but you gotta be honest (or HE has to be honest)... I designed the system, so I know whats possible and whats impossible. smoke coming out of a box that runs on 2A is impossible

as far as "smoke goes" - thats virtually impossible since everything "high current' goes through relays (rated double starting current) and they don't smoke - even if they fail. aside that, every box is tested before it leaves here... a pretty solid 300-400 start cycles.

that's weird, since he messaged me that everything works great...

He was complaining of the functionality of it and some smoke was coming from area where the alarm box was after multiple starts with the car. I have disconnected the box since and put the key back in.
